Camrost Felcorp, a well-known developer in the Greater Toronto Area, has announced that Joseph Feldman will become its new President and Chief Operating Officer. This change in leadership comes as the company prepares to celebrate its 50th anniversary. The move reflects a strategic plan to guide the firm into its next half century.
David Feldman, the founder, will remain actively involved as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. He praised the timing of the leadership shift, calling Joseph’s promotion a step toward making the company more responsive, ambitious, and forward-looking in how it works.
Joseph says he has always looked up to his father’s trailblazing way of thinking and doing business, tackling bold projects that others might avoid. He plans to keep that open minded spirit alive in his new role.
Since joining Camrost in 2014, Joseph has taken on a range of duties from development and construction to finance, marketing, and sales. He rose through the ranks, serving as Vice President and COO before taking on this latest leadership position.
Camrost Felcorp has already shaped over 85 buildings in the GTA, including homes, offices, and shops, totaling about 25 million square feet. The firm continues to work on new condo, rental, and commercial developments. The new leadership team will include Jonathan West in investments, Tara Welat in legal, and Sabrina Carpino in customer relations, all stepping up to vice president roles.
Joseph sees this leadership refresh not just as an update but as a chance to keep building communities people love. He emphasizes that even though the industry faces uncertainty, Camrost’s five decades of experience and diverse project history, from condos to rentals, have positioned the company to stay flexible and strong as it moves ahead.
