Colliers Names Andrew Kirkham Managing Director Of Vancouver Brokerage

Colliers Names Andrew Kirkham Managing Director Of Vancouver Brokerage

On May 5, Colliers, one of Canada’s major real estate firms, named Andrew Kirkham as the new Managing Director of its Vancouver brokerage operations. This means Kirkham is now in charge of guiding the team of advisors handling all types of commercial property deals across the city. He will report directly to Kirk Kuester, the Executive Managing Director of Colliers Vancouver.

Kirkham joins Colliers after leading efforts at KingSett Capital, where he was Vice President for Western Canada. At KingSett, he handled leasing, managed operations, and worked to improve the performance of real estate holdings throughout the region.

Before his time at KingSett, Kirkham worked in asset management for Eminata Group. There, he helped run a portfolio of educational institutions in Canada, including CDI College and Vancouver Career College. His experience also includes serving as General Manager of Commercial for Cressey Development Group for over seven years.

In his new role at Colliers, Kirkham will lead Vancouver’s full brokerage team, covering sectors such as office, retail, industrial, and multifamily. He is also well known in the industry—he serves on the board of NAIOP Vancouver and acts as a national task force liaison, which shows he is deeply involved in the commercial real estate community.

Kirk Kuester expressed strong support for the move. He called Kirkham “well respected across Western Canada” and praised his solid reputation and network. Kuester said this new hire will help Colliers better serve clients and strengthen its presence in the region.

This news follows Colliers’ recent growth in Canada. The company has agreed to acquire Calgary’s Triovest, combining two major teams with over 3,000 employees and managing nearly 100 million square feet of property. In addition, Colliers Engineering & Design just acquired Chicago-based Terra Consulting Group. All this shows Colliers is expanding fast—making Kirkham’s new role a part of a bigger plan.
