Marlin Spring Developments is moving forward with plans to build a 49-storey condominium tower at 5280 Dundas Street West in Etobicoke. The site, acquired in July 2024, is adjacent to the Kipling GO Station, offering residents convenient access to multiple transit options, including GO, TTC, and MiWay services.
The proposed development features a 45-storey tower atop a four-storey podium, comprising 541 residential units. The unit mix includes 23 studios, 385 one-bedrooms, 89 two-bedrooms, and 44 three-bedroom suites. Residents will have access to 47 parking spaces and 610 bicycle parking spots across three underground levels.
Amenities are planned throughout the building. The ground floor will house a residential lobby with a concierge and pet wash station, alongside a 1,942-square-foot indoor amenity area. A notable feature is the fourth-floor "reveal" level, offering a 1,927-square-foot indoor space connected to a 7,394-square-foot outdoor terrace that encircles the building.
Designed by Toronto-based Jahan Mehr Architects, the building's exterior will showcase dark cladding with vertical elements at the base and lighter cladding with ample glazing on the tower portion.
Marlin Spring's Vice-President of Acquisitions, John Josephson, emphasized the project's alignment with the company's vision of creating accessible, vibrant communities in amenity-rich locations. He noted that this development continues Marlin Spring's commitment to contributing to Etobicoke's growth.
This project is part of Marlin Spring's broader strategy to enhance urban living spaces in the Greater Toronto Area, adding to their portfolio of developments aimed at providing quality housing with convenient access to transit and local amenities.
